May has been an eventful month, to say the least! I finished up my second year of college, I wrote a lot more in this post if you want to learn a bit more about my semester. The picture above is one my brother took of me. I’ve been making him take pictures for me ever since I’ve been home, and I think my training has turned him into quite the good photographer. Also, I’m in love with this top (I found a similar top here) that I picked up in the Target clearance section! I always have good luck searching through there and I get to save a little money in the process.

To keep it short and sweet–I’m getting along with The Ordinary skincare very well! I picked these products up back in the fall (haul here) and have been able to give them a fair shot and update my thoughts on these products. To start out, I have combination-oily skin that gets a little drier in the winter and more oily in the summer. I also have acne-prone skin, but since adding these products in my skincare, my acne has been pretty much under control which I’m so happy to say! I do still get some spots around my period and when I’m eating particularly bad, but I had such bad acne during my freshman year of college that this is like nothing.

I’ve been really consistent with going to the gym for the past two months or so. I thought I would share what items I bring with me to go to the gym and some other fitness items I’m loving at the moment. I’m going to try my best to keep up with my health and fitness routine throughout the summer along with working as a camp counselor again. I’ll keep everything updated in my monthly favorites posts too!

How has another semester of college already been finished?? Last year I couldn’t wait to leave school for the summer, this year I was ready for school to be done but sad to leave my friends! I love summer though, it’s just more of an adjustment living at home again with my whole family and a limited amount of space with all my stuff here now. I’m excited to be moving into an apartment next year and not have to move out after a year! I’ve done these posts for each of my semesters, so if you want to read my last one you can find it here.

It’s only been a couple of months since I did my last empties post, but I have a bunch of items that I’ve finished up recently! I’m really trying to make a conscious effort to use up all of the products that I have before I buy anything more, of course, sometimes this is easier said than done, but it’s a work in progress! These are some of my favorite blog posts to read, so I hope you enjoy!

April was definitely my busiest month yet! I was busy finishing up classes, club activities, banquets, and just lots of end of year things. I’m sorry I haven’t written any blog posts in a while, but I should be on schedule for a while now until I start up work in June. I’m so happy with how my year ended and glad to say that college is officially growing on me!

Ever since I got my braces off, I’ve always wanted to have white teeth. I tried the whole strip thing and that never seemed to do anything that lasted more than a day, so I just reserved them for special occasions and stuck with my not-so-white teeth every other day of the week.
Then came Smile Brilliant when they gave me their teeth whitening kit to give a try!

I always seem to accumulate a bunch of samples from Sephora, but never get around to trying them. So after these have been hanging around for a while, I finally decided to give them all a go. I actually think this was a special sample set I got with my order, which I probably why there are so many of them that I needed to try! Although one of the best things is actually getting really good samples, which I did this time around.

We’re getting down to the wire here with school. I officially have like 4 1/2 weeks left as I’m writing this. Very exciting, but very stressful! I’m going to try to keep up with blog posts, but even in the last couple of weeks, I’ve been putting it on the back-burner. Also going to be changing up the style of these posts so they are more organized and so I can share a little bit more with you guys!

I always look online at Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters and just die over how cute everything is! But why does everything there have to be expensive… Anyways, one day I will be able to deck myself and my space in all things Anthro, but for now, I’m just using them as a little inspiration for some DIY succulent planters!
