Hi, it’s been a long time since I’ve written a blog post. I actually was going to give up this blog as my domain and registration expired in January. But after a few frantic days figuring out how to transfer everything to new hosting, my blog is up and running. I didn’t want to lose something that I’ve worked so hard on for the past three years, so although I may not post very often anymore my blog is here to stay!
Happy New Year everyone! I’m really hoping for a great 2019 because the end of 2018 was something that I just couldn’t wait to get behind me. January’s are never my favorite month, in fact, I would say it is my least favorite month of the year, but it does mean a fresh start and a new year to get things accomplished. Just like last year, I’ll be sharing my New Year’s resolutions and goals for 2019 with all of you.
It was one of my New Year’s Resolutions in 2018 to read more books than I did in 2017, and I proud to say that I did just that! My actual goal was to read 20 books, but I passed that pretty quickly and upped it to 35, but actually finished 36 books! Read what I read in 2017 here. I started reading before I went to bed. This became a nice way to unwind from the day and get some reading in.
I love reading, and I’m really proud that I was able to read more this year and hope to continue that into 2019! I think I’m going to my goal to 30 books for the next year, so it’s still doable.
Merry Christmas everyone!! It’s time for something very special, Blogger Secret Santa hosted by Abigail from Living the Gray Life! This was really fun to participate in for the second year! I hope everyone is having a great day celebrating with friends and family, I’ll be spending the day watching Christmas movies and eating all the delicious food!
Happy December! It’s kind of crazy how fast 2018 has gone, but I must say I’m so excited for it to be Christmas and for the semester to be over! I thought I would share my Christmas wishlist for the year, though it’s going to be pretty small this year! If you need any more wishlist inspiration you can read last year’s wishlist here.
I’m back writing one of my favorite posts to write, mainly because I get to talk about everything that keeps me entertained on the daily basis. I did miss doing a summer post for this, but if you want to catch up on the spring one you can do that here. This will actually keep me on better track doing this seasonally, so here’s everything that I’ve been reading, watching, and listening to this fall.
Hi guys, remember me? It’s been a while since I’ve written a blog post. Almost three months actually.
I just haven’t had any desire to write anything in a while. Originally this blog was supposed to be about beauty and other things. Slowly I’ve started to get less into the things this blog was originally built on.
I’m back again with another one of these posts! This is everything I’ve been enjoying through the spring months! Although since I’ve been on summer vacation for a month now, it’s still spring in calendar terms! If you want to catch up on my winter post you can read that here.
So this monthly favorites post was supposed to go with my updates post, but that ended up being a very long post so this one gets its own. I was surprised that I actually came up with a few new products that I’ve been using a lot this month. I’ve been off of school and work for most of the month, so I’ve just been doing a lot of relaxing and a little shopping too, oops!
May has been an eventful month, to say the least! I finished up my second year of college, I wrote a lot more in this post if you want to learn a bit more about my semester. The picture above is one my brother took of me. I’ve been making him take pictures for me ever since I’ve been home, and I think my training has turned him into quite the good photographer. Also, I’m in love with this top (I found a similar top here) that I picked up in the Target clearance section! I always have good luck searching through there and I get to save a little money in the process.
