Having combination skin requires some special treatment. I have oily patches where my acne loves to come through, and then I have dry patches that need extra moisture! Sometimes it’s hard to find products that work well for my skin, especially when I struggling with acne.

Wow, the wall of my shower is so ugly, but it’s what I’m working with for the next few months! I’m back with an updated what’s in my shower caddy, expect this year it’s a hanging shower caddy (last year’s post) because I’m in an apartment. I’m only in this apartment until the end of May and then hopefully I’ll be moving into someplace a little nicer. I’m currently on the search with my roommate to find a new place to live for our senior year of college!

It’s been a while since I shared my last empties post, so I’ve accumulated a lot of stuff! I’m working really hard on using up the stuff that I have and only buy new products when I run out of something or it’s something I’ve had my eye on for a long time. I have a lot of travel sized items that need to be used up here and I’m slowly working on those! I usually do these in categories of repurchasing, but I’m going to split them up into the different types of products this time.

So I actually bought these products back in June, but that was right around the time that I took a blog break so I just had these photos waiting to be posted! So here I am with another Glossier haul (you can read my first Glossier haul here). I basically own most of their products now and don’t really regret it!

It’s been a while since I did my last makeup edit post, so here I am with the makeup that I’ve been wearing almost daily. I’ve made about three separate Glossier purchases, so I’ve accumulated a lot of their products and have been using them a lot. Alrighty, I’ll just get into this post and talk individually about these products! If you want to get 10% off of your Glossier purchase you can use my link*.

Am I the only person who finds a product they love and then never use anything else? Well, I’ve been basically using the same brow product for over a year now, so I was kind of itching to just see what else was out there. I picked a couple things up from Ulta’s sale and then also got a few more products in the mail to try out. There is one mascara in this bunch, but I haven’t actually tried it out yet just wanted to pick it up for the future.

So this monthly favorites post was supposed to go with my updates post, but that ended up being a very long post so this one gets its own. I was surprised that I actually came up with a few new products that I’ve been using a lot this month. I’ve been off of school and work for most of the month, so I’ve just been doing a lot of relaxing and a little shopping too, oops!

To keep it short and sweet–I’m getting along with The Ordinary skincare very well! I picked these products up back in the fall (haul here) and have been able to give them a fair shot and update my thoughts on these products. To start out, I have combination-oily skin that gets a little drier in the winter and more oily in the summer. I also have acne-prone skin, but since adding these products in my skincare, my acne has been pretty much under control which I’m so happy to say! I do still get some spots around my period and when I’m eating particularly bad, but I had such bad acne during my freshman year of college that this is like nothing.

It’s only been a couple of months since I did my last empties post, but I have a bunch of items that I’ve finished up recently! I’m really trying to make a conscious effort to use up all of the products that I have before I buy anything more, of course, sometimes this is easier said than done, but it’s a work in progress! These are some of my favorite blog posts to read, so I hope you enjoy!

April was definitely my busiest month yet! I was busy finishing up classes, club activities, banquets, and just lots of end of year things. I’m sorry I haven’t written any blog posts in a while, but I should be on schedule for a while now until I start up work in June. I’m so happy with how my year ended and glad to say that college is officially growing on me!
