Hi, it’s been a long time since I’ve written a blog post. I actually was going to give up this blog as my domain and registration expired in January. But after a few frantic days figuring out how to transfer everything to new hosting, my blog is up and running. I didn’t want to lose something that I’ve worked so hard on for the past three years, so although I may not post very often anymore my blog is here to stay!
I’m finally getting around to sharing my college apartment bedroom from my junior year! I took these photos in December I think, but here you go with the photos now that I’m moving and my room is all packed up. I really liked how my room came together this year, despite my first apartment being very 70s in style. I got most of my stuff from Target, TJ Maxx, Home Goods, and Ikea. You can check out my dorm room tours here and here.Continue reading “College Apartment Bedroom Tour | My Junior Year Room”
I can’t believe that I graduate in a year! It still feels like I’m a freshman, but here I am finishing up my junior year at SDSU – crazy! This will be the sixth post that I’ve written for each semester. (Read last semester’s post here) I haven’t been very good at writing on this blog this year. I’ve been keeping very busy with an internship, working at the radio station, class, and just everything else. It’s been so great, and honestly, I’ve had one of the best semesters, which is not something that I thought of with how the last one ended! I have a busy summer ahead and another busy senior year coming up, but things are really starting for me!

Having combination skin requires some special treatment. I have oily patches where my acne loves to come through, and then I have dry patches that need extra moisture! Sometimes it’s hard to find products that work well for my skin, especially when I struggling with acne.
Wow, the wall of my shower is so ugly, but it’s what I’m working with for the next few months! I’m back with an updated what’s in my shower caddy, expect this year it’s a hanging shower caddy (last year’s post) because I’m in an apartment. I’m only in this apartment until the end of May and then hopefully I’ll be moving into someplace a little nicer. I’m currently on the search with my roommate to find a new place to live for our senior year of college!
It’s been a while since I shared my last empties post, so I’ve accumulated a lot of stuff! I’m working really hard on using up the stuff that I have and only buy new products when I run out of something or it’s something I’ve had my eye on for a long time. I have a lot of travel sized items that need to be used up here and I’m slowly working on those! I usually do these in categories of repurchasing, but I’m going to split them up into the different types of products this time.
Happy New Year everyone! I’m really hoping for a great 2019 because the end of 2018 was something that I just couldn’t wait to get behind me. January’s are never my favorite month, in fact, I would say it is my least favorite month of the year, but it does mean a fresh start and a new year to get things accomplished. Just like last year, I’ll be sharing my New Year’s resolutions and goals for 2019 with all of you.
It was one of my New Year’s Resolutions in 2018 to read more books than I did in 2017, and I proud to say that I did just that! My actual goal was to read 20 books, but I passed that pretty quickly and upped it to 35, but actually finished 36 books! Read what I read in 2017 here. I started reading before I went to bed. This became a nice way to unwind from the day and get some reading in.
I love reading, and I’m really proud that I was able to read more this year and hope to continue that into 2019! I think I’m going to my goal to 30 books for the next year, so it’s still doable.
Merry Christmas everyone!! It’s time for something very special, Blogger Secret Santa hosted by Abigail from Living the Gray Life! This was really fun to participate in for the second year! I hope everyone is having a great day celebrating with friends and family, I’ll be spending the day watching Christmas movies and eating all the delicious food!
I have officially finished up my fifth semester of college! I’m a junior now and have recently changed my major (read all about that here). This has honestly been one of the hardest semesters for me and I’m so ready for a fresh start next semester. I’ve moved off campus now and that’s been a transition, and I’ll be getting a new roommate at the start of next semester so that will be another adventure in my life! Life really has thrown me through so many twists and turns this semester, but I’ve grown in my relationships with people that care about me and I’ve grown as a person through all of this. If you want to catch up on everything I learned last semester, you can read that here.
