Having combination skin requires some special treatment. I have oily patches where my acne loves to come through, and then I have dry patches that need extra moisture! Sometimes it’s hard to find products that work well for my skin, especially when I struggling with acne.

That’s where the Bioré Blue Agave + Baking Soda products come in. I’ve been trying out the cleanser and mask that are geared towards combination skin. The Baking Soda helps deep clean (perfect for my oily areas!) while the Blue Agave provides soothing & conditioning benefits, making it the perfect combination.

Cleanse

I always try to use a gentle cleanser, but I also love to get to exfoliation. The Bioré Blue Agave Baking Soda Balancing Pore Cleanser provides me with both! It’s gentle, but I love the gentle exfoliation for the beads. It removes all the gunk off your face and leaves it feeling clean, but not tight and dry.

Mask

A few times a week I try to do a mask addressing my skin concerns. The Bioré Blue Agave Baking Soda Whipped Nourishing Detox Mask is great for clogged pores and getting a deep clean, all in 3 to 5 minutes!

It provides a cool tingling feeling, that I personally love! I also love that I don’t have to sit with the mask on my face for so long, but I still get the deep clean I’m craving.

*Please note: Not for sensitive skin consumers or those with sensitives to menthol as it may cause short term flushing of the skin.*

Tone

After I’m done cleansing and masking, I move onto toning. I have a few different toners on a rotation that I pick based on what my skin is doing. Sometimes I have acne flare-ups, and other times my skin is okay and just needs that extra tone. Pick a good toner and your skin will thank you!

Serum

I usually apply a Niacinamide and Zinc serum to address my acne. This has been working well for me and my skin. It addresses my acne/oily skin, but doesn’t dry out the skin!

Moisturize

A very important final step: moisturize! I hate the feeling of dry, tight skin, so I have to moisturize! I’ve been using a light-weight moisturizer at night to not clog my pores but still provides the moisture I need. I also always use an eye cream because my under-eyes seem to be one of the driest parts of my skin.
