Currently Reading, Watching, & Listening To Fall Edition

Currently Reading, Watching, & Listening To Fall Edition

I’m back writing one of my favorite posts to write, mainly because I get to talk about everything that keeps me entertained on the daily basis. I did miss doing a summer post for this, but if you want to catch up on the spring one you can do that here. This will actually keep me on better track doing this seasonally, so here’s everything that I’ve been reading, watching, and listening to this fall.

Reading

So this will be a catch up from summer and fall reads, I’m happy to announce that I have read 30 books so far this year! I’ve really gotten back into my love of reading. I got a library card at my local library so that I can keep up and read more books. Having a deadline always helps me finish books faster because I have to return these! Just a little tip if you struggle to finish books or want to save some money! I also just seem to have more time for reading this semester.

Here’s everything I’ve read since my spring post:

All of the books in bold are the ones I really recommend checking out. I’m really going to try to start taking pictures of the books I’m reading so I can include cover pictures because that’s usually how I decide to read a book! You can check out my Goodreads account for more reading updates as well.

Watching

I’ve really been searching for some new shows to watch lately (so if you’ve got a favorite let me know!). Right now I’m on catching up on This is Us. I’m on the second season right now, and I cry at almost every episode. Everyone knows about This is Us, so just watch it if you haven’t already.

Onto a few comedy shows I’ve been watching. I just started up Brooklyn 99 and I really like it so far! The characters are really quirky and funny, and so far the storyline is good. I finished up The Mindy Project after not watching it for probably a year. It ended well, I just got sad when Mindy and Danny weren’t together. I also loved The Good Place! The more I watched it the funnier it got, but it also has a really interesting storyline that keeps you into it!

I also just watched Crazy Rich Asians yesterday, and man that was a good movie! It was so cute and different, so I recommend watching that if you haven’t already. I’m kind of late to the game with this movie, but I saved some money going to the cheap theater! I plan on reading the book now and comparing them!

Listening

I’ll probably do a whole podcast post soon because I’ve been really into them lately! I listen to a lot of YouTuber podcasts because these are the people I follow and they are interesting to listen to. So far my favorites have been Gals on the Go by Danielle Carolan and Brooke Miccio and Thick & Thin by Katy Bellotte. These are the ones I listen to most consistently every week, they each offer great advice and stories.

Of course, I also have the music I’ve been listening to this season. I went to see Taylor Swift in September, so this playlist has lots of music from Reputation. Plus lots of country music, so check it out if you want!
