being back at school + updates

being back at school

Hi guys, remember me? It’s been a while since I’ve written a blog post. Almost three months actually.

I just haven’t had any desire to write anything in a while. Originally this blog was supposed to be about beauty and other things. Slowly I’ve started to get less into the things this blog was originally built on.

The great thing is the blog is just named after me, so there’s really nothing holding me back from changing my content. So I started thinking, what do I want to put on this little site of mine? Suddenly, I had no idea.

So I just kind of left it. Even though for the first time ever I was having consistent views and my Pinterest was blowing certain posts of mine up.

I took the whole summer off and I worked as a summer camp counselor and loved almost every minute of it. I was so sad to leave this special camp of mine and I really hope I’m able to return again next summer.

In August, I moved into my first apartment with one of my good friends as a roommate. This was an adjustment for me coming from the comforts of home. Suddenly I was surrounded by stuff that I owned but didn’t quite feel like mine.

Slowly I got into the swing of things and the swing of living off campus and commuting to school every day. I got back into working at the radio station, and I started a second job-an internship actually.

So now not only am I taking 15 credit hours, I’m now working almost 20 hours a week at my two jobs. I’m also full-filling credit hours with my internship, so make that 18 credit hours that I’m paying for actually.

I don’t know what I want to put on this blog anymore, but I do know that I want to start writing on here again. Perhaps I won’t take another six-month break this time!

I’ve got a few posts in the works coming up soon, so I should be on here at least once a week (I hope)!
