16 Things I Learned in 16 Weeks of College | Sophomore Year Spring

How has another semester of college already been finished?? Last year I couldn’t wait to leave school for the summer, this year I was ready for school to be done but sad to leave my friends! I love summer though, it’s just more of an adjustment living at home again with my whole family and a limited amount of space with all my stuff here now. I’m excited to be moving into an apartment next year and not have to move out after a year! I’ve done these posts for each of my semesters, so if you want to read my last one you can find it here.

  1. Your classes get a lot more interesting the further you get.
  2. Taking four semesters of Spanish is something to be proud of, even if you didn’t learn how to speak any Spanish
  3. Go student media!
  4. You should find a side-hustle
  5. You should stop worrying what people think about you
  6. Still, need to work on communicating with people
  7. The loneliness you feel at times will go away
  8. Make your space a place you want to be in
  9. Rationing your Netflix watching is a smart move
  10. Spend as much time with your friends as possible
  11. Talk to people you wouldn’t think to
  12. Go outside your comfort zone
  13. Your professors are constantly looking out for you, use that to your advantage
  14. You don’t need to know what you want to do with your degree
  15. People will constantly doubt you
  16. You are going to do great things, no matter what happens

Alright, there are a few things I’ve learned this year. It’s crazy to think that I’m halfway done with college now. I’m excited to see what the next two years bring for me and my future. I’m positive I’ll figure out my life at some point, but for now, I’ll just keep doing me!

Let me know the things you’ve learned in college!
