Beauty Empties 02

Beauty Empties 02

It’s only been a couple of months since I did my last empties post, but I have a bunch of items that I’ve finished up recently! I’m really trying to make a conscious effort to use up all of the products that I have before I buy anything more, of course, sometimes this is easier said than done, but it’s a work in progress! These are some of my favorite blog posts to read, so I hope you enjoy!

Have Already Repurchased

  • Too Faced Better Than Sex: This is definitely my favorite mascara I’ve tried. I love how fluffy and thick my lashes are plus some length as well. I’ve already picked up a full-size of this and will repurchase again. I do need to try out the L’oreal Lash Paradise as it’s supposed to be a dupe.
  • Benefit Roller Lash: Another great mascara, but this one focuses mostly on length. I picked up one of these during an Ulta sale, so I have this one on back-up as well.
  • Philosophy Purity Cleanser: This is a great cleanser for when my skin is a little drier (aka winter). This was again on sale, so I picked it up but won’t be using this until after summer.
  • Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray: I finished up my travel size version of this. It’s a good setting spray, I’m not sure if setting sprays actually do anything for my makeup, but I do like using them and I already have a full-size of this product in rotation.
  • Differin Gel: My mom picked up this product for me when my acne was super bad last year. I think it does work pretty well and have another one that I use when my skin is acting up. My skin has been better lately though, so I don’t think I’ll repurchase this again once I finish up my current one. If you have acne prone skin, this is a great product to target the whole face.
  • Nivea In-Shower Body Lotion: I like using this in the winter when my skin needs that little extra moisture. I apply this in the shower and then follow up with another lotion to really lock everything in.
  • Carmex Classic Lip Balm: One of my favorite lip balms to have on hand. Super hydrating and has SPF 15, so it’s perfect for all year long. Plus I love the little tingly feeling, it makes me feel like it’s actually doing something!

!function(doc,s,id){ var e, p, cb; if(!doc.getElementById(id)) { e = doc.createElement(s); = id; cb = new Date().getTime().toString(); p = ‘//’ + cb; e.src = p; doc.body.appendChild(e); } if(typeof window.ss_shopsense === ‘object’){ if(doc.readyState === ‘complete’){ window.ss_shopsense.init(); } } }(document, ‘script’, ‘shopsensewidget-script’);

Maybe RepurchaseBeauty Empties 02

  • Lush Celestial Moisturizer: This is a great facial moisturizer for super dry skin. It smells like vanilla, goes on super smooth, and lasts for a long time. I used this at night and my skin was hydrated throughout the winter. I have another Lush moisturizer I’m using right now, so I won’t be buying another one for awhile.
  • Lush Herbalism Face Cleanser: This was a really good cleanser to use! It’s supposed to help oily and troubled skin, and I think it lives up to that. I think I’m going to try out the Dark Angels cleanser before I buy this one, but I’m will most likely buy this in the near future!
  • Bath & Body Works Products: I’m lumping these together because I don’t think they sell any of these scents anymore besides the Winter Candy Apple scent during Christmas. I did find the Watermelon Lemonade and Wild Madagascar Vanilla on their website, these both smell great so I do recommend! I’m working on finishing up all of my BBW products to be able to try out some new stuff.

Won’t Repurchase

  • Dove Cool Essentials Deodorant: I’ve used this deodorant for so long, but I’m kind of sick of the scent so I won’t be repurchasing again. I have a few others I’m trying to use up as well.
  • Sun Bum Self Tanning Towelette: These are pretty expensive for what they are and I’ve used better self-tanners.
  • Origins Clear Improvement Cleansing Powder: I just tried to find this on Sephora and it doesn’t look like they sell it anymore. I only got to use this once, so I don’t really know the long-term effects, but I just didn’t like how messy this was to use.

Alright well those are all of my empties for this go around. Now I’ll work on saving up more!
