March Favorites and Updates

March Favorites and Updates

We’re getting down to the wire here with school. I officially have like 4 1/2 weeks left as I’m writing this. Very exciting, but very stressful! I’m going to try to keep up with blog posts, but even in the last couple of weeks, I’ve been putting it on the back-burner. Also going to be changing up the style of these posts so they are more organized and so I can share a little bit more with you guys!

Life Updates:

March Favorites and Updates

March has been my get my life together again month. I’ve officially started going to the gym regularly and I’m really working on eating better, which is a challenge on a college meal plan! I’ll share more on this later on in this post as well.

I spent spring break relaxing at home or really just trying to relax. My family was home a lot more than I expected, which was both good and bad. I could have used a longer spring break, but busy being back finishing up spring semester.

I shared this little page of my sketchbook on my Instagram this month, and I’m quite proud of it! I’ve really struggled actually doing art because I don’t want to waste the pages in my sketchbook, but I’ve just decided to do whatever and just draw because it’s fun!

March Favorites and Updates

I’ve been keeping everything pretty simple per usual. I’ve been loving the CliniqueFit Moisturizer since I bought it. It’s great for my oily-combination skin and great for after my workouts! The Mario Badescu Facial Spray has also been getting a lot of use lately. I finished up my Urban Decay All-Nighter and this is what I had with me at college. I’m not sure it actually does anything for my makeup, but it feels nice to spray!

For makeup, I’ve been loving the Glossier Cloud Paint in Puff that I picked up this month. It’s a great shade for fair skin, and super easy to apply because it’s a cream. Plus I don’t feel like it cloughs my pores like powder blush does. I’ve been feeling the need to declutter my blush collection because I’ve realized how much I have!

I think I’ve discovered my all-time favorite mascara: Too Faced Better than Sex. It makes my lashed fluttery, long, and voluminous, but natural. I’ve tried a few others lately and nothing compares. I have been layering Better than Sex with the Clinique High Impact Mascara, I don’t like this on its own (it’s too wet and clumpy), but paired together they work really nicely.

Health & Fitness

I’ve finally decided to get in shape. I also decided to stop wasting my money and actually go the college gym that I pay for every semester. I’m working on finding what kinds of workouts I actually enjoy and trying to find a plan that works (I’m testing out this one right now).

Buying cute workout clothes is kind of a plus as well. The high-waisted Old Navy leggings have been the best to work out in because they actually stay up above my hips. Also, Target’s new JoyLab line has awesome stuff, I linked some of the items I picked up or have my eye on below.

Entertainment

I’ll keep this short because this has turned into a very long post!

I watched Baby Driver over spring break, and that was a great movie! Ansel Elgort, of course, is gorgeous, but also a great actor. The storyline is connected to the music, so it’s a really fun watching experience, I really recommend. For movies in theaters, I saw Love, Simon and another great one! It was such a cute story and it was interesting watching a traditional teen rom-com with a storyline like this.

Alright, that’s it for me, let me know what you’ve been up to this month!
