16 Things I’ve Learned in 16 Weeks of College | Sophomore Year Fall

16 Things I've Learned in 16 Weeks of College

I actually wasn’t sure if I was going to write this post this year, but after looking back at my previous two posts (here and here) from this series, I decided I should! This is just a simple list of things I came up on my last day of the fall 2017 semester. This semester went by so quickly it seems!

  1. Being in a college town gets a lot easier your second year.
  2. Your classes also get a little harder.
  3. The Journalism department is awesome.
  4. Everything happens for a reason.
  5. Changing jobs is a great decision.
  6. Things don’t always go the way you plan.
  7. It’s hard maintaining friendships.
  8. It’s nice having many places to be comfortable.
  9. Being honest is always a great decision.
  10. Time does really go fast.
  11. It’s hard making life decisions.
  12. You should get to know more people.
  13. You’ll learn to be a little more okay with spending time alone.
  14. Sometimes stress comes at the weirdest times.
  15. Planning for the future is scary.
  16. You’re almost half-way done with college, make the most of it.
