Lip Care Favorites

Lip Care Favorites

I am a chapstick addict, and I use lip balms like their going out of style. It’s very important for me to practice lip care to keep my lips hydrated and healthy. I compiled a few of my lip care favorites today for anyone else out there who is addicted to lip care items!

Lush Lip Scrub

This is a great prep item for lip balm or for lipstick. I like that Lush’s lip scrubs are all natural and safe to consume (you’re actually supposed to just lick it off!). It gets rid of all the dead skin on my lips to make for easier application of anything. In the winter, I try to use a scrub a few times a week.

Vaseline Lip Therapy Cocoa Butter

I use this product every night before I go to sleep. It’s very hydrating to the lips and I like that it’s a thicker formula so I find that it stays on longer throughout the night. This is probably my favorite scent, but the Creme Brulee version is great as well I just ran out of that one not too long ago!

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Lip Therapy

I reach for this on the mornings when my lips are super dry. This is a lighter formula than the Vaseline one, so it’s better to use throughout the day. I love the scent of this as it’s slightly minty and just feels fresh on the lips. I also like using this one after I’ve scrubbed my lips to get some extra hydration in them.

Carmex Classic Lip Balm

This is the one that I carry around with me everywhere. I swear I have one in my backpack, purse, car, and at home. It just gets the job done on the go. This one makes your lips feel a little tingly, but that’s one way to know it’s working! Plus this one is super cost effective and great to just throw anywhere you need.
