What’s in My College Shower Caddy? | Freshman Year

What's in My College Shower Caddy?

Living in a dorm comes with a new experience: shower caddies. No longer did I have my own bathroom to put all of my stuff scattered around. Now my whole shower comes in a basket where I have to walk across the hall to take a shower. It’s not too bad, though, especially since I don’t live in traditional dorms so our showers are pretty nice. The water pressure, though, not so kind on my hair or skin.

My shower caddy is a hand-me-down from my sister, but it’s held up great between the both of us. I recommend getting the plastic ones because they dry faster and wear shower shoes! I just use $1 flip flops from Old Navy and they work great!

I’ve had to switch up my shampoo and conditioner since coming to college just to manage everything. Right now I’m using the L’oreal Smooth Intense Ultimate Straight Shampoo and Conditioner.

For face wash, I have three to choose from, mostly because I’m trying to use them up before I move back home and before I switch up my skin care again.  I’m currently using the Biore Baking Soda Pore Cleanser, Biore Acne Clearing scrub (which is one of my favorites and I will be repurchasing!), and the St. Ives Oatmeal Scrub & Mask.

For shaving, I’m currently loving the EOS Shave Cream with the Gillette Venus Swirl Razor. I’m also using Bath and Body Works Scrub and Shower Gel. Both of these products are all fall scents (haul here), so they aren’t being sold right now. It’s a good thing I love fall scents because these products have lasted me all school year. I use the shower gel with a basic

I use the shower gel with a basic loofah that I buy at Target and definitely don’t replace as often as I should (and yes I know they are not good for you, but I like to use them!). Finally, I use the Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer, which has helped keep my skin soft because I don’t lotion as much as I used to.

These are the products I have been using all of my freshman year, and they most likely will change next year when I come back!
