5 Drugstore Picks for Fall

I am so excited for fall–as it is my favorite season! I love the cold crisp weather, the warm drinks, and the colorful leaves. I also get excited about the fashion and makeup. These are a few items I picked out-all from the drugstore-that I think would be perfect for any fall makeup look.

My first pick is Covergirl TruNaked Eyeshadow Palette in Roses. I find the purples a nice addition to a fall makeup look, and the copper shade in this palette is one of my favorites. For being drugstore eyeshadow, they are good quality with little fallout. The shimmer shades are very pigmented, the swatches shown are one swipe. Whereas the matte shades take a little more time to build up the pigmentation.

Because I am a huge fan of copper shades on the eyes in the fall, I knew that L’oreal Infalliable Eyeshadow in Amber Rush was a great pick. It is super pigmented and honestly can just be worn by itself and create a beautiful look. I usually apply this with my fingers to get the most pigmentation out of it and then blend with a brush.

Highlighters are such a big part of everyone’s makeup routine nowadays, and it is a little hard to find a good one at the drugstore. I picked up Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Radiant Lights after spotting it on a display. I was very surprised how much I liked the look of it. It’s a really soft highlighter, but still looks beautiful on the skin and gives a nice amount of glow.

Lips are also another key part of a fall makeup look. I love the look of berries and reds during this season! NYX Soft Matte Creme in Copenhagen is the perfect berry color. It is a matte shade that is comfortable on the lips. It doesn’t last the best though-but it’s super easy to reapply. Covergirl Colorlicious Lipstick in Tempt Berry is a blue toned red-which is really the only kind of red that suits my fair skin. It’s a comfortable formula that lasts forever and stains your lips after awhile.
